About the Contract
This five-year charter is an agreement between The Meliora School, Inc. and the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia. It authorizes the school to operate and sets academic, operational, financial, governance, enrollment, and accountability requirements.
- Statewide public charter accountability through the SCSC.
- An attendance zone within the Gwinnett County School District.
- Open enrollment and a random lottery when applications exceed available capacity.
- A mastery-based, project-based educational model focused on entrepreneurship and computer science.
- Annual academic, financial, and operational monitoring.
