Founding Special Education Learning Guide
The Special Education Learning Guide ensures that learners with disabilities receive high-quality, inclusive instruction aligned to Georgia Standards of Excellence while accessing Meliora’s mastery-based learning model.
This role blends instructional support, compliance, collaboration, and advocacy to ensure learners receive services in the least restrictive environment.
Founding Operations Manager
The Operations Manager supports the financial, operational, and administrative systems of The Meliora School. This role works in close partnership with the Founding Director of Operations to execute day-to-day operations, ensuring systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned to the school’s mission.
The Operations Manager plays a key role in translating strategic operational priorities into effective daily practices during the school’s founding and opening years.
Director of Specialized Services
The Director of Specialized Services is an in-person, part-time leadership role beginning in June 2026, focused on building and leading Meliora’s specialized services program from the ground up. This leader ensures all learners receive equitable, compliant, and strengths-based support within a learner-centered, mastery-based environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced special education leader who believes compliance and care can coexist—and who thrives in a startup environment where systems are built thoughtfully and intentionally.
Founding Learning Guide
The Founding Learning Guide plays a critical role in launching The Meliora School. In addition to facilitating instruction and advising learners, Founding Learning Guides actively participate in school design, curriculum development, and culture-building during the founding year.
This role is ideal for educators who are energized by ambiguity, believe deeply in learner agency, and want to help build a school from the ground up.
